Eryri is a beautiful area of Wales with dramatic mountains, lakes and waterfalls and my photos showcase these wonderful places with pictures of Yr Wyddfa Snowdon (The highest mountain in Wales), the famous Llanberis lone tree, the Glyderau mountains including the iconic mountain peak of Tryfan and the location of one my favourite walks in Snowdonia National Park, Cwm Idwal.
About my Snowdonia photos gallery
Much of my photography time is spent around the stunning Snowdonia National Park mountains and lakes and it’s undoubtedly my favourite place to spend time with the camera in North Wales. As I’m sure you can see from the Snowdonia photos gallery, Eryri (it’s now known by its original Welsh name) has some incredible scenery with 15 mountains over 3000ft high, including Wales’s highest mountain peak, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Most of my best Snowdonia pictures are taken in “Golden hour” light, the time either side of sunrise and sunset as the tones and colours on the landscape are usually at their most photogenic. The autumn and winter months, when the sun is naturally low in the sky and softer in tones, also is a good time to capture beautiful photos of Snowdonia.
